AVENGE THE LION

Like wild horses crash the river
Fire in their eyes
Thrill of the kill my blood runs cold

You flash the knife
I pull the gun
and watch the world explode
My destination burns alone

It’s not the words you fear
but by the hand to fist I hold
I’ll tear the reasons into rhymes
and leave you in the cold
There’s no warning…

Give and take what this world creates
We are trying
And all you kings will fade
As we make our way worth fighting
To avenge the lion

Brazen whores ablaze to forge
This metal crown of thorns
My beast revenge i stand alone

kick to the side crash and burn
a fist to face explodes
the heel that grinds is not your own

Clock the hours into seconds
Watch the time erode
Lethal lions roar in with the young
Out with the old
There’s no warning

Give and take what this world creates
We are trying
And all you kings will fade
As we make our way worth fighting
To avenge the lion

the brave will hold and brace for fire
till they see the whites of their eyes
the whites of their eyes…

We cloak ourselves in the guise of compassion
Through the halls of whores Devine
Beneath the silent shades of grey

Bless this roar of rhymes and discover
My peace with war in chains
A great divide a sea of red

Give and take what this world creates
We are trying
And all you kings will fade
As we make our way worth fighting
To avenge the Lion
Lion, Lion….

IRONS IN THE FIRE

BLIND EYES

This frozen time your eyes move from the table
They drift alone into a mystery
So long ago this heart of stone
felt the broken shadows of a long history

Your hand to brow confused in scorn and laughter
How many times I’ve played the fool for you again
and in your dreams of hunger
You cast upon the wall
Your temper scars my mind and I remind you so…

Trapped in this game were under
A path of light has no return into the flame

Your blind eyes just won’t see
That it’s time to leave time to leave this pain
Your blind eyes look at me
But it’s time to leave time to leave this all behind

You breathe my air of danger
This monster that you made
I’ll bleed your scars so they never fade

My scars may bleed forever
I’ll crush your heart the same
My blood flows through your anger
and will never change

Trapped in this game were under
a path of light has no return into the flames

Your blind eyes just won’t see
That it’s time to leave time to leave this pain
Your blind eyes look at me
But it’s time to leave time to leave this all behind

Beyond these walls of love and lust are never green
I can’t believe I played the fool for you again
I crave the time that we become as one
The crash of dishes on the kitchen floor
in this darkened fantasy I’ll give you pain

Your blind eyes just won’t see
that it’s time to leave time to leave this pain

Your blind eyes just won’t see
That it’s time to leave time to leave this pain
Your blind eyes look at me
But it’s time to leave time to leave this all behind

IRON IN THE FIRE

These games of broken gods bring the gift of holy wars
Burn down the walls of stone to ashes on the ground

The blade of hunger slays in the night it takes no names
tears from the son will fall to earth

We hold the reigns of dragons and the point of no return
Beware the darkness and its plague

Irons in the fire ~ in the killing fields, they lay
Irons in the fire ~ bring down the burning rain
Irons in the fire ~ don’t ask the price that’s paid
Irons in the fire ~ this bitter game must end

In a storm of endless lies tainted flowers won’t survive
but wasn’t that always the plan
As the serpent sets to strike and a hammer takes a life
It is the evil in the hearts of mankind

We hold the reigns of dragons and the point of no return
beware the darkness and its plague

Irons in the fire ~ in the killing fields, they lay
Irons in the fire ~ bring down the burning rain
Irons in the fire ~ don’t ask the price that’s paid
Irons in the fire ~ this bitter game must end

And your demons will follow your dead
Into a garden of evil
We pray for answers and brace for the kill
break through the fear and rise from the fall

Irons in the fire ~ in the killing fields, they lay
Irons in the fire ~ bring down the burning rain
Irons in the fire ~ don’t ask the price that’s paid
Irons in the fire ~ this bitter game must end
must end
must end…
